Deputy Home Minister visits Butong to review Indian documentation cases

Securing citizenship documentation continues to be an area for serious action in the Indian community. On December 18, 2010 at the Mariamman Hall, Butong, Ipoh a total of 89 people made applications to the Registration Department pertaining to their documentation related concerns.

The nature of cases are:-

Counter by Registration Department

Among the VIPs at this function were the Deputy Minister for Home Affairs, Dato Lee Chee Leong, Dato Veerasingam, advisor to the chief minister of Perak, Dato Ganesan, Perak Assembly speaker and SITF consultant Dato Siva Subramanium. 15 officers from the Department were present to provid advice and processed the applications.
