Malacca getting ready for “My Daftar campaign”

The Registration Department hosted the Malacca state level discussion on the campaign which was held on Monday Jan 17, 2011 at the Home Affairs complex at Ayer Keroh. The meeting was chaired by the Malacca state JPN director , Mr Shahril Neoh.

Two key decisions taken:-

• It was agreed that during the campaign period three JPN offices at Air Keroh, Alor Gajah andf Jasin will be open on Feb 19 (Sat), 20 (Sun) & 26 (Sat). On working days people can go to any registration department in Malacca.

• The Malacca coordinating office for the campaign will be at Datuk R Perumal’s office located at Aras 1, Blok Bendahara, Sri Negeri, Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh. Tel 06 230 7500.

All together about 26 people participated in this campaign planning meeting representing the Registration Dept, MIC and NGOs including Malacca state exco member Datuk Perumal Raju and Taskforce campaign coordinator Dato Siva Subramanian. Other key community leaders present at the meeting were former State exco member Dato Ragahavan and current special officer of the chief minister, Datuk MS Mahadevan.
